HMS Caroline is a decommissioned C–class light cruiser of the Royal Navy that saw combat service in the First World War and served as an administrative centre in the Second World War. She was launched and commissioned in 1914 and is famous for being the last surviving vessel of the Battle of Jutland (1916) and one of only three surviving Royal Navy vessels from the First World War.

In 2016, we began work on the restoration and conversion of the vessel into a museum for the Royal Navy. We were able to utilise our maritime expertise to assist with both the restoration and interpretation of the vessel itself, as well as providing lighting design services for the associated landscaping works in Alexandra Dock.

The finished project is another jewel in the crown of Belfast’s proud maritime tradition; and one that the whole family can interact with and enjoy.

We feel extremely privileged to have been involved!
