Lisanelly Educational Campus
This £120m project is earmarked to be the future for educational facilities within Northern Ireland. The project invloves the relocation and integration of six existing schools all onto the site of the existing Lisanelly Barracks in Omagh. The six schools will benefit from the use of exceptional shared educational facilities namely the school of performing arts, the school of Making and the school of physical activity. The schools shall be supplied with energy from an internal private high voltage electricity network, centralised energy centre with Biomass CHP and the campus will be provided with a fully networked IP campus management infrastructure providing facilities well in excess of anything currently provided in school education networks. All educational buildings on the site are designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
