Nazareth House, Dublin
Caldwell provided full MEP consultancy services for the £4m Nazareth House which involved part demolition within a live nursing home, the relocation of a temporary entrance facility and the construction of a new wing for 36 new en–suite rooms complete with all associated nursing facilities.
The scheme consisted of numerous communal areas for the inpatients, including sitting rooms and a library all overlooking the new landscaped gardens. The construction involved complex phased demolitions and restrictive working patterns to accommodate the patients and their privacy. The building was constructed using sip–fit panels which allowed for a fast track solution and an accelerated programme for completion.
